Kids-Lift Launches its Second Virtual Food Drive Campaign

Kids-Lift, the non-profit arm of Premium Service Brands, has launched its second Virtual Food Drive campaign with franchisees of Premium Service Brands all around the country. The food drive helps to ensure students who depend on free or reduced meals at school don’t go hungry when schools are closed over the holidays.

Children’s access to school-supplied meals has been greatly reduced as many parents are searching for employment and a source of stable income to purchase food for their families. The holiday season is also an extremely important time for food donation efforts, as students are not able to receive school-supplied meals while absent from school during winter breaks.

After such strong success in previous in-person food drives, the weekend backpack meals program, and most recently in its first Virtual Food Drive campaign last winter, Kids-Lift decided to continue making a nation-wide impact on children’s food security with a second campaign. The donations given to these schools, school districts, and organizations will supply children and their families with shelf-stable food to last through their winter breaks.

This Virtual Food Drive campaign began on October 25th and will run through December 10th, just before winter break begins for schools around the country. Giving back to your community has never been easier- to donate, contributors simply view the Amazon List for the school they choose to donate to. From there, they can decide which items, and how many of each item, to contribute to the school’s Virtual Food Drive. These donations are shipped directly to the school, where they will be distributed to kids in need.
